DiPropylene Glycol (DiPG)

Description: Dipropylene Glycol (DPG) is a high-purity, low-odor, and low-volatility solvent widely used in the fragrance, perfume, and personal care industries. Known for its excellent stability and mildness, DPG serves as an ideal diluent and carrier for fragrance oils, essential oils, and aromatic compounds. It helps to disperse and evenly distribute fragrance ingredients, ensuring consistent scent release while minimizing irritation and volatility.

In perfume and room fragrance formulations, DPG is often used to dilute concentrated fragrance oils, allowing for easier handling and blending without compromising scent strength or longevity. It also acts as a fragrance fixative, helping to extend the lasting power of the scent once applied. Due to its high boiling point, low toxicity, and minimal odor, Dipropylene Glycol is suitable for use in a wide range of products, including body sprays, fine fragrances, reed diffusers, air fresheners, and scented candles. Its versatility, safety, and compatibility with a variety of ingredients make it a preferred solvent and carrier in fragrance manufacturing.
