Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate (sometimes referred to by the trade name Bio-Terge) is a high-active (92%) powdered anionic surfactant derived from natural alpha olefins. Supplied as a fine, free-flowing powder, it offers excellent foaming, cleansing, and emulsifying properties for a wide range of personal care and cleaning applications. In shampoos, body washes, facial cleansers, and syndet bars, it provides rich, stable lather and effective cleansing while remaining mild when properly formulated. As a sulfate-free alternative to SLS and SLES, it delivers strong detergency and oil removal in household, laundry and industrial cleaners. Readily biodegradable, stable across various pH and temperature ranges, and compatible with other surfactants, it is a versatile choice for concentrated formulations. Recommended usage level: 3–30%. For external use only; handle with care when working with concentrated surfactants. This product can become airborne easily and should be used in a well-ventilated area.
